This is one of our favourite family trips in Indonesia, bringing together three contrasting islands over three unforgettable weeks. You start in Kuala Lumpur before heading into the jungles of Sumatra to spot orangutans from your lodge, then continue to Bomo for a volcano adventure across dramatic landscapes. You finish in Bali where life slows down with stays near quiet beaches and walks through green rice fields. With longer travel distances and a mix of experiences, this trip suits families with older children.
